Wimbledon Community Chorus
Sonoro Baroque Ensemble

Handel’s celebrated Messiah is the ultimate oratorio, having stayed at the heart of musical life since its first performance in 1741. A combination of some of the most memorable sacred music with vivid and poignant texts, bright trumpets and the famous ‘Hallelujah’ chorus, the Messiah is a firm favourite with concert goers worldwide.

Sonoro are joined by Wimbledon Community Chorus and Sonoro Baroque Ensemble. The outstanding individual voices of Sonoro will take the soloist roles, and have been involved in the rehearsal process with Wimbledon Community Chorus. A true community event to celebrate the rich and diverse choral activity in Wimbledon.
