Sonoro’s Kings Place debut is centred around two works for upper voices and harp, Britten’s inimitable A Ceremony of Carols and Rutter’s companion piece Dancing Day. The female voices of Sonoro complete their programme with seasonal music by Gustav Holst, Roxanna Panufnik, Brian Chapple, Cecilia McDowall, and a new commission by James McCarthy.
